While we were watching, we realized "Holy shit, pokemon(show) was entertaining at one point!"
So we just kept criticizing the new one saying that it wasn't original, it wasn't funny, and was just barley entertaining.
Then I came up with a brilliant idea that I hope to do one day.
We(as in whoever can help) try to mimic the original pokemon's art style.
We then make our own pokemon series.
Not even making up new pokemon or whatever for it.
Just like, going back to Kanto and Jhoto, but with a new trainer and a new story.
So, think I should try to attempt this one day? (but not for a longgggggg time
) 
Seasons 1 (Indigo League),2 (Adventures in the Orange Islands), and 3 (Johto League) are okay, but the rest....kinda gets...uninteresting anymore.
Season 1 (Indigo League) has one of the best nostalgia I've ever heard in a show, you can hear them on Youtube, and they were pretty sweet. The rest of the seasons kinda overused the soundtracks too much.

But I'm guessing they're running out of ideas for new adventures and stuff, so I guess that's what happened.
As for your idea...maybe you should create like, a Youtube mini-show for it, because Pokemon was the original creator's idea, and you might get sued if you take their idea and make it into a TV show.
But however, that is a great idea, and I hope you successfully complete that dream.
and no, I was planning on making it internet only (unless for some bizarre reason the actual creators of pokemon hire us)
