Fire Master

"Ok, I give up, we're lost!"
That voice came from 13 year old Leon.
"Qui qui lava!"
That voice came from Leon's Quilava.
"Thanks for the encouragement, but I don't think we'll get out of here soon.
Let's just wander around until nightfall. It's not a dangerous forest."

On their search for a way out, a few wild Pokémon attacked. Leon decided to let Quilava train using them.
"Use ember! Good, now doge it and hit it with a tackle! Now finish it with a flamethrower!"
"Qui lava!"
The rest of their day passed and before they knew it, it was night.
"Night already? *sigh* Let's get camp set up."

Leon and Quilava set up camp and got the camp fire lit. Leon then asked Quilava, "You think I should bring out the rest of our family?" Quilava nodded.

So Leon took out his Pokéballs and brought out his other 5 Pokémon: Charmander, Vulpix, Houndour, Combusken, and Chimchar. All his Pokémon gathered around him and made themselves comfortable.

Leon looked at his Fire-type friends and said, "My friends, we've been through a lot together, we've battled, explored, and overcome every challenge we've come across by working together. So no matter what happen, the 7 of us will be friends forever."

Leon's Pokémon as smiled at him, it was pretty clear that they agreed with him about being friends forever. Then, a small ember piece came out of the fire and landed on a part of Leon's foot that wasn't covered by his sandal, but the ember didn't burn him.

Instead, that area started to grow a yellowish fur.
He also started to shrink
"WHAT'S GOING ON HERE?! WHAT'S HAPPENING TO ME?!"
His Pokémon just sat their quietly.
The fur was now covering his legs as they shrunk, making him fall on all fours.
When the fur reached his back it turned green while his stomach stayed yellowish.
When the fur got to his arms they started shrunk too.
When the fur reached his head, his face pushed out into a muzzle and his eyes changed from blue to red.
His ears moved to the top of his head and became pointed.
Lastly, some holes opened up on his neck and rear, sprouting flames on his will.

Sitting in front of the fire, Leon looked at his Pokémon dumb struck.
"D-did you guys do this to me?"
"Well… yes." Replied his Charmander.
"We thought that the best way to be really bound with you is to turn you into one of us."
"How did you do that?" Leon asked
"Well, Pokémon have a special power that can only work if a bound is really strong between a human and us. We used that power in the fire." Chimchar replied.
"Ok, just one more thing, why a Quilava?"
"We sort of all agreed that we turn you into something that was even more useful then just a Pokémon." Said his Vulpix.
"What's that?"
"My mate," replied Quilava.
"You see, Quilava's the only one of us that female, in case you didn't notice. So we decided that you should be her mate."Houndour explaned.
"Not that I want to, but can I change back?"
"Actually yes, you can. Just imagine your human self, and you'll change back." Quilava answered "But I wouldn't think you'd do that unless it's neccisary, would you?"
"No way, I enjoy being a Quilava. Well, we should probably go to sleep and get ready to find our way out tomorrow."

And with that, Leon begins his new life as a Quilava.
